For me, it’s about so much more than just the numbers. I believe that data and analytics are truly the heart and soul of a company, connecting deep-rooted issues to real and tangible impacts. I’m passionate about creatively harnessing data to generate insights that lead to positive changes for your customers, employees and...your bottom line. It all starts with me listening and working closely together with you to uncover your most important goals and pain points. From there, we will be able to dig deep into your data to understand root causes and important trends. The insights we discover will lead to strategic tactics for immense improvements, along with uncovering new and exciting business opportunities to set your sights upon.

With over 15 years of consulting experience in analytics, I’ve been able to identify niche opportunities and process gaps for top 10 multinational and Fortune 100 companies. In other words, I love to win. But I love helping others win even more.

I believe that all data has a story to tell. But with so many data collection mechanisms and storage options, organizations are finding themselves inundated with data. Most of them are not properly leveraging what they’ve collected or combining their datasets to tell cohesive stories about their business and/or customers.

Having worked with organizations from multiple industries for over a decade—from multi-unit brick-and-mortars to subscription services to hospitality companies to nonprofits—I have a good understanding of the challenges organizations face when looking to combine their data sources. I will work with you to find the best solutions to meet your organization’s needs. We will also determine together if combining your dataset is a one-time analytical need or if ongoing reporting is required, then strategize on how best to make that happen.

My passion lies in helping organizations leverage data to make informed business decisions. I know that it can be difficult to know where to start - combing through the vast amount of data being collected each day can be a daunting task, never mind organizing and visualizing it in a way that makes it actionable. That’s where we as consultants get to do what we love. We’ll work closely with you to develop and define the key metrics that support your objectives and set achievable goals that keep you moving forward. 

Having experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, I can help cut through the noise in your datasets to help you understand the trends most impacting your business and how to display your key metrics in a way that makes actioning easier. In partnership, we can decide on the cadence of reporting and when it makes sense to dive in deeper on a new business question.

In 2007, Sigrid Penner founded Focus Further Solutions based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She made it her mission and passion to provide in-depth analytics and comprehensive solutions for clients of all sizes. The team currently consists of three consultants who are dedicated to delivering valuable insights and continue Sigrid’s legacy of helping clients discover their biggest “wins”. ​
